Photos taken at Boston's First Night 2009. There were only two ice sculptures this year, a surfing themed one and a polar bear sculpture. There was also a luminaria display dedicated to a former MIT professor.

The weather was windy and cold with blowing snow. You can actually see some of the snow blowing horizontally in some of the photos.
